Zodiac Couple Case Studies Part(2)

Hello friends, welcome to my second sun sign theory couple case study. In these posts I aim to analyze couples based on sun sign theory of human behavior. While I admit to putting a lot of weight into Astrological theory about human interaction, I also acknowledge that every human is different and you cannot put someone into a complete box just based on their birthday. This is why having a complete reading of your birth chart is important as it gives you a more accurate look at your personality. Anyway, I was curious to see how accurate relationship matches were solely based on a couples sun signs. I hope that by analyzing real couples I can gain a better understanding of how sun signs effect people in relationships. I felt that instead of reading about these pairings, I could study how accurate sun sign theory is in real life situations. My next case study is of a Leo-Aquarius match and a Leo- Leo match. For this post the Leo queen decided to remain anonymous. Questions are in bold, the Leo's answers are in blue. Please note that the person answering each question has their name underlined.

Leo and Jesse (Leo and Aquarius)

1. Shared values are what make a good relationship a great one, and good values, for the Aquarius man and Leo woman, are plenty - making them quite compatible. Would you say this statement is accurate? Why or why not? We definitely did not have the same values. We were the complete opposite of each other and that’s what drew us together. But in the end that’s what drew us apart because we couldn’t find anything to agree on. 
2. Aquarius men and Leo women function so well together because they can benefit from working as a team. Did you find that you were a team in this pairing? If so, did it help in any way? If not, what do you think went wrong? In regards to being able to work as a team, because we brought different things to the relationship we were able to be a “power couple” may I say. He was the brains and I was the heart. He taught me the importance of planning instead of acting on instinct. He taught me to be patient and understanding of people who were different than me. He taught me to be open minded and always curious. But again, the differences and stubbornness drove us apart. 
3. This partnership is energetic and unstoppable, and although occasional competitions may occur, there is never a dull moment for these two.  is this true? There was never a dull moment between us, it was exactly like a roller coaster. There were a couple of nice  ups and a lot of downs. My fire and his air created a pretty big explosion.
4. As a thinker, it is much harder for an Aquarius to allow himself to be sucked away into the spontaneous, lusty fires of his Leo partner. When that wall is breached, however, passion is strong and enduring. It is words that often turn him on, as opposed to the very physical nature of Leo. Do you believe this is true? Did you experience this with your Leo-Aquarius match? He was very much in his mind a lot, too much for me. He was fine with just verbal communication because he wasn’t an affectionate person. I on the other hand needed both, more so the physical affection. Being a Leo, I’m very passionate and need to express myself in a physical way. He had trouble warming up to that and that was a battle we always fought. 
5. Aquarius men are very much independent and like doing things their own way. Their intelligence can occasionally cause them to be condescending to their partners. In your experience is this true or false? I’m okay with my partner and I to be independent in the relationship, as long as there is partnership as well. He didn’t quite understand the “we” and I grew tired of him saying “I” along the way. It was hard being in a relationship with someone who felt he needed to constantly fight for independence. A relationship involves two people being in a partnership in my opinion. 
6. Leo and Aquarius score a 75% on trust. How would you score yourselves on trust? In regards to loyalty I trusted him deeply. But if we were to discuss trusting him with my basic needs/wants. I couldn’t trust him to follow through. Maybe, 20%.
7. On the compatibility scale, the Leo-Aquarius match receives a score of 90% in communication and intellect. Would you find this accurate? Communication between us took work and tears. We’re both stubborn and would either talk it out (with a lot of compromising on my part) or he wouldn’t want to discuss things and ignore it. Definitely 0%. 
8. Do you feel like you were a good match? No.
9. Why did you break up? I realized I deserved better. 
10. The Leo- Aquarius relationship score is given an 88% positive overall rating. Given your experience, what score would you give this relationship out of 100? Our kind of relationship needed comprising on both parties so we could contrast well. Instead we struggled deeply and in the end all we saw we’re what made us different from each other. I’d give this relationship a 75%.

Leo and Aquarius are predicted to be the power couple type, and for this Leo it was true for a time. When they were team oriented this pair was unstoppable, only to be torn apart by their varied values. Leo described this experience as a roller coaster, considering Aquariuses 'I' instead of 'we' attitude. Giving them a score of 0% for communication, Leo summed up this frustrating and staggering relationship. From the outside looking in, this sounds like a personal choice from Aquarius to give the bare minimum. Aquariuses own selfish proclivities made for a hair tearing ride for Leo. Given Leo's need for physical affection, Aquariuses penchant for non-physical displays of affection give this pair the kiss of death. While I cannot condemn all Leo and Aquarius pairings with 100% certainty, I can tell every man, woman, and animal to stay away from Jesse Aguilar of Santa Ana, California who goes to CSU Dominguez Hills.      

Leo and Mickey (Leo and Leo)

1. It is believed that the Leo-Leo pair has deep convictions that everything is clear in their lives. After all, they are ruled by the Sun, so how could this not be the case? Although they are usually open with other people, when they get together it is like a constant struggle for supremacy. Do you find this to be true? Leo is a sign of regal energy that is dominant and likes to be the King/Queen of the jungle. So when you have a king and a queen together it’s hard to find dominance in the relationship. But us Leos love to play submissive when we need some extra attention (;
2. Leo is a Fire sign of fixed quality, and they are pretty hard to change. Did you find your Leo-Leo relationship frustrating in this way? Both being fixed signs definitely makes us not like change and has us being stubborn in our ways. I would say he’s less stubborn than I am so we do find room to compromise. 
3. As two representatives of the same sign with such strong characteristics, Leo-Leo pairs value similar things. In general, Leo values bravery, clarity and someone’s inner strength. Do you believe that you two valued each other because of these primary values? As a Leo having the same values is a must because we need to feel understood and appreciated for who we are and what we stand for. Finding him was a dream because I finally found someone who understood my values and my wants. We share the same love language and I don’t need to explain how I think because we think the same way. 
4. Two Leos in love make for an exhilarating, dramatic and flamboyant partnership, of course, but what do you feel are some of the negatives of being with a Leo? I’d say the positives definitely outweigh the negatives because there are only a few negatives. Such as being too alike can cause our perspective to be small. Whereas if we had different views we’d be able to bring different things to the relationship. Another negative I currently see is how we both lead with our hearts and how there isn’t a balance of head and heart. 
5. It is said that as a same-element couple, you may need to make a conscious effort to not get stuck in a rut or even a competitive dynamic, is this true in your experience? Sometimes we do get stuck in ruts of being too emotional and not rational enough. This can happen because of how alike we are and how stubborn we tend to get. We shape up in times of need and when the other needs help. 
6. Leo and Leo score a 70% on trust. How would you score yourselves on trust? Leos tend to be seen as a confident and self assured sign. That’s a mask to cover up our insecurities and our low self esteem. So I think trust is hard to have as a Leo in itself but with each other it’s easier to trust because Leos will be happy to reassure their lover. I would give a 75% for trust.
7. On the compatibility scale, the Leo-Leo match receives a score of 65% in communication and intellect. Would you find this accurate? I would give our communication skills at least a 80% because when a Leo has something on their mind/heart they tell it like it is. So being both honest helps us further understand what we need and want. 
8. Leo-Leo matches score a 90% match on values. Is this the case in your experience? I’d say 100% 💖 on values because if we don’t share them all already, we make sure to prioritize our lovers’ values!
9. Leo and Leo matches score an 85% in shared activities, meaning they are expected to like a lot of the same activities. What score would you give the Leo-Leo match? Why? Leos love: Love, Sex, Fun, and whatever else gets their blood pumping!! I’d say 100% on the shared activities haha. 
10. The Leo- Leo relationship score is given an 78% positive overall rating. Given your experience, what score would you give this relationship out of 100? I’m really happy with this relationship so far and would definitely recommend other Leos to try a relationship with other fellow Leos 100% 💖.

When it comes to this Leo's perfect partner, she does not have to look far on the zodiac wheel. As it turns out this Leo-Leo pairing is 100% perfect in this Leos experience. Their dominant personalities do not clash given that they are willing to bow down to one another when the situation allows. Taking turns being the power players of their relationship has made these Leos stronger. Because they have different stubbornness levels, this also serves as a trust builder and not a relationship breaker. The biggest and most important reason this pair works is their shared love language. This means that most of the time, they are able to pick up on each others moods and feelings. They share a greater understanding on how to be affectionate with each other and how to communicate. Having the same love language as your partner is pivotal, and yet not everyone realizes this. I believe there is too much ego and selfishness in this pairing, and the only reason this pair works is because they want to work it out so badly. In other words, unless both Leos are willing and able to put in the serious effort to making their relationship work, this pair is better for booty calls.
