Past- EX Regression Therapy(2)
As you can see from the gif I chose, Devin's answers to my ex questionnaire were....surprising. Not only was I expecting the sarcastic, unforgiving, and just plain mean person I usually get, I was expecting a lot more....blaming. I will say while most of his answers were a nice surprise, I was not surprised that he could not for the life of him think of anything he has ever done to me. Boys, am I right? Well no matter, while he expressed his disappointment for me not responding to his answers more in the last post, I will be responding to his answers fully and without filter in this post. For this post, my responses to his answers will be in bold, his answers will be in plain text, and the original questions will be underlined. Here we go friends.
1. Did you ever love me? Absolutely. I loved you.
2. At any point, did you see yourself spending forever with me? Absolutely. Yes.
3. Did you talk to your ex when you were with me? You were my first girlfriend so no. Yes because he was threatening to beat that ass.
4. Did I ever do anything that made you jealous? When I saw you with Shea it made me a little jealous. Mostly sad though. I am sorry I made you sad. But we were kids and we did not know what the hell was going on. Also I got very mad and jealous when you were with bitch ass Ana.
5. What's your biggest regret about our relationship? That I didn't let you know just how much you meant to me. Yea, that definitely would have been nice. I always wondered what you considered our relationship. Like, was it just the first time? The years after? We are a mess.
6. What's the worst thing you ever did to me? I don't know I never really did anything bad to you at least intentionally/that I knew of so I think that one's up to you to decide.
7. What did you actually think of my friends? They were cool except for Lucas and them. They were dicks. But Lucas ended up apologizing and said he was trying to squash all the beef in his life cause he wanted to move on and be more positive so we're cool now. This makes sense because we were cool with a lot of the same people. Lucas and them were Kyle's friends as well (the guy I left for Devin) so of course they were dicks. In fact, I broke up with you the first time because Kyle was saying he was going to beat you up but whatever I am horrible and you are amazing.
8. What's your favorite memory of us being together? Probably a tie between when we went on that walk underneath the blooming trees and when we were just chillin in the stairwell and the sun caught your eyes in the most beautiful way. My favorite memory of you will always be the first time I saw you, sitting in the back of the bus, alone, laughing to yourself.
9. What was your favorite thing about me? You know what's what and you let it be known. Like when you tell me I'm shit at communicating or relationships it's not what I want to hear but probably what I need to hear. My favorite thing about you used to be that you had the heart I did not. You were able to love without reservation. You were not like anyone I had ever met up to that point.
10. What was your least favorite thing about me? You're more stubborn than me and you'll just leave mid conversation if you get bored or it's not to your liking. You act like an asshole, you do not text or call, but you expect me to hit you up to hang out when I am in town? How do you think that works? Why would I want to be around someone that does not put in any effort towards me? Unfortunately for you, I know my own worth, if you will not treat me the way I deserve to be treated, someone else always will. Say it with me ladies, "WE GOT TO BE NICE FOR WHAT?"
11. What would you have done differently? Let my feelings for you be more spoken. Tell you how I really felt. I kept a lot of it back because I thought it might not be cool or come off as weird. My God if I had known you would never forgive me for the first time I broke up with you, no matter the reason, I would have let them kick your ass.
12. Do you still think about me? Eh not really. Once in a while you'll come up. The universe is a cruel mistress at times. I swear once a year, I will have this cluster of months where I just dream of you non stop. I will literally forget you exist and then one night *bam* there you are.
13. Do you think we could have actually worked out our problems? I'm not sure. It would've taken some deep conversation time but maybe. I know we could have, the distance and your attitude killed any chance we had.
14. Do you wish we could work it out now? No. They say opposites attract but I think we're too opposite for that to apply. Wishing is for the weak, if you want something, you have to make it happen for yourself.
15. What have you told your new significant other about me? Haven't had one in years and I can't think of a reason I would've brought you up. Nothing good.
16. Did you keep the presents I gave you? Yeah I still have the bracelet and your notes. I'd wear the bracelet but it's gotten a little worn down and I'm so clumsy that I'd end up breaking it eventually. Never gave me any, what a bum.
17. Do any songs or TV shows remind you of me? Just Seize The Day- Avenged Sevenfold and I think I wanna marry you- Bruno Mars. For me it is just Gemini Feed- Banks, All I'm Thinking Of- Tyrone Wells, Irreplaceable- Beyonce, and We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together- Taylor Swift.
18. What do you think of me now? I'm proud of you for moving on in life so well and sticking to yourself. You know what I think of you. What I will say is, if you keep on being lazy in love, and keep that cynicism, the universe will never give you what you want.
19. What do you really think about my body? It's cute. You were really soft, too, and since I also have soft skin it was like two babies rubbing their asses together. Your face could make me melt on the coldest of days. Your eyes were stunning, your smile was perfect, and the laugh that came from it warmed my heart. Thank you very much. It is every girls dream to not be sexy or beautiful, but cute. I liked how tall you are, I loved your red hair. I liked your face, your smile, and that jaw line.
20. Do you think you were the settler in our relationship, or I was? I feel like you were because you could've gotten anybody and you chose me whilst I was pretty much the opposite. I was too shy and awkward to approach people let alone so it smoothly. This is tough because we were like the two complete opposite sides of the spectrum. I am a social butterfly that loves to be in the thick of it, and you are shy and rather keep to yourself. I definitely had a lot of friends raise their noses at us, but I never cared. We were a good match and you were sweet, caring, and your aura was so warm.
21. If you could tell me anything, what would you say? Fuck you. Jk I can say that any time Uhhh probably that you've been great at leading me to be a better person throughout my life. you've given a lot of good advice for me and despite the pain I've felt from you, you've somehow always made it better. You taught me that the people you date are not play things. You taught me that it is better to be kind and to love than to play little games for satisfaction (no matter how much fun it is).
22. Do you wish we were still together? Maybe 15 year old me because he was hopeful but now I'm more of a realist and I understand that if we tried it would create too many problems to be beneficial to either of us and potentially lessen our relationship as it is by a large amount. Not the way you are now. You are not in the mind set to be a good partner for anybody. I think you enjoy being in the dark place you are in, and despite what you say, you are not ready to love or be loved again.
