Past- EX Regression Therapy(1)

Recently, I called out my exes in a post. The post received rave reviews, with people commending my outspoken take no prisoners approach to getting over my past relationships. Although I did not see my post as hurtful but merely an Aries form of therapy, I did receive some messages where concern was expressed for the 'people' I spoke about in my post. Now, while I understand the need to be 'nice' and uhh 'considerate' of these 'peoples' feelings, I would like to point out this is my blog. And anyone that has ever met me knows I am an all or nothing personality. I do not hold back and I spit the truth like Ice Cube in the 90's- to the detriment of others. Now, I am not a cold-hearted Aries, my moon is in Cancer (kill me please) after all. So while I am not sorry for what I wrote, as it is the truth, I was sorry to hear that some people may be hurt by what I wrote. So, I reached out to just one of the ex's I spoke about (this isn't a charity) and expressed my sincerest apologies for maybe having gone a little to far on my therapeutic journey. The ex I reached out to is someone you all know well by now, Devin. It is 2018 so here are the receipts (or it did not happen):

So to all you bleeding hearts out there, let me remind you that sticks and stones may break Devin's bones, but chains and whips excite him. So get off my back. Anyway, so after getting in touch with Devin, I thought it would be great to get his perspective on our relationship, considering all our 'feelings' have died down a bit. I found this questionnaire on Buzzfeed and it is just questions everyone wishes they could ask their ex. Well my friends, anyone that knows me knows I will ask anyone pretty much anything with no reservations. So here we go. The tea is H-O-T hot today. These are Devin's responses word for word, and you can tell, because they are short and to the point. 

1. Did you ever love me? Absolutely.

2. At any point, did you see yourself spending forever with me? Absolutely.

3. Did you talk to your ex when you were with me? You were my first girlfriend so no.

4. Did I ever do anything that made you jealous? When I saw you with Shea it made me a little jealous. Mostly sad though.

5. What's your biggest regret about our relationship? That I didn't let you know just how much you meant to me.

6. What's the worst thing you ever did to me?  I don't know I never really did anything bad to you at least intentionally/that I knew of so I think that one's up to you to decide.

7. What did you actually think of my friends? They were cool except for Lucas and them. They were dicks. But Lucas ended up apologizing and said he was trying to squash all the beef in his life cause he wanted to move on and be more positive so we're cool now.

8. What's your favorite memory of us being together? Probably a tie between when we went on that walk underneath the blooming trees and when we were just chillin in the stairwell and the sun caught your eyes in the most beautiful way.

9. What was your favorite thing about me? You know what's what and you let it be known. Like when you tell me I'm shit at communicating or relationships it's not what I want to hear but probably what I need to hear.

10. What was your least favorite thing about me? You're more stubborn than me and you'll just leave mid conversation if you get bored or it's not to your liking. (EXCUSE ME am I not an Aries? When you piss me off do I not breathe fire? Get a life.)

11. What would you have done differently? Let my feelings for you be more spoken. Tell you how I really felt. I kept a lot of it back because I thought it might not be cool or come off as weird. 

12. Do you still think about me? Eh not really. Once in a while you'll come up.

13. Do you think we could have actually worked out our problems? I'm not sure. It would've taken some deep conversation time but maybe.

14. Do you wish we could work it out now? No. They say opposites attract but I think we're too opposite for that to apply.

15. What have you told your new significant other about me? Haven't had one in years and I can't think of a reason I would've brought you up.

16. Did you keep the presents I gave you? Yeah I still have the bracelet and your notes. I'd wear the bracelet but it's gotten a little worn down and I'm so clumsy that I'd end up breaking it eventually.

17. Do any songs or TV shows remind you of me? Just Seize The Day- Avenged Sevenfold and I think I wanna marry you- Bruno Mars.

18. What do you think of me now? I'm proud of you for moving on in life so well and sticking to yourself.

19. What do you really think about my body? It's cute. You were really soft, too, and since I also have soft skin it was like two babies rubbing their asses together. Your face could make me melt on the coldest of days. Your eyes were stunning, your smile was perfect, and the laugh that came from it warmed my heart. (Someone come get they man)

20. Do you think you were the settler in our relationship, or I was? I feel like you were because you could've gotten anybody and you chose me whilst I was pretty much the opposite. I was too shy and awkward to approach people let alone so it smoothly. (He WAS an angel and we were both lucky)

21. If you could tell me anything, what would you say? Fuck you. Jk I can say that any time Uhhh probably that you've been great at leading me to be a better person throughout my life. you've given a lot of good advice for me and despite the pain I've felt from you, you've somehow always made it better.

22. Do you wish we were still together? Maybe 15 year old me because he was hopeful but now I'm more of a realist and I understand that if we tried it would create too many problems to be beneficial to either of us and potentially lessen our relationship as it is by a large amount.

I would like to thank Devin for taking the time to fill out this questionnaire. I was surprised he did, but then again he has never stopped surprising me in our almost 8 years of knowing each other.
